Income Tax Debt Issues that arise under Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act

In this presentation, you will hear from an experienced Licenced Insolvency Trustee (formerly Trustee in Bankruptcy) and tax lawyer about the issues that arise to both individuals and corporations when they seek the protections of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (“BIA”).  The seminar will cover the basics of the operations of the BIA and then talk about what happens to tax debts.  The seminar will also cover derivative issues that arise to third parties such as directors and non-arm’s length entities on those tax debts and the considerations for them.
