About the Event

This course will focus on a wide range of tax issues in respect to taxation and family law, from the claiming of personal tax credits to attribution rules, section 160 assessments and everything in between.

There will also be a discussion on how to deal with private company shares in a divorce context.

The presentation will be enhanced with the commentary of Mr. James Rhodes, LLB from Taxation Lawyers who will be providing his invaluable insight on taxation matters in the context of Family Law.

The seminar will also include considerations for the use of CRA programs such as Taxpayer Relief or Voluntary Disclosure to fix mistakes as opposed to filing adjusted tax returns.
